“Finding providers that are up to date on menopause relief has been the absolute hardest to navigate. [Elektra is] truly personal and caring. No hard sales, no fad treatments. It was purely about finding out what I needed.“
“I have never felt so seen and heard. My last doctor was so dismissive of my symptoms, told me ‘well, some people just have it worse in perimenopause. There’s nothing we can do’. I will absolutely recommend Elektra!”
“[My clinician] was amazing. Smart, thoughtful, prepared, she listened conscientiously and explained relevant medical literature, treatment options, potential risks/benefits — all with expertise and empathy.”
“Elektra is the first provider out of many I’ve tried who has helped me feel valued, heard, and has actually helped me to find some answers and a path forward.”

Elektra providers can treat menopause symptoms including hot flashes, sleep concerns, fatigue, vaginal dryness/painful sex, and more. We can also address menopause-adjacent health concerns such as high cholesterol, hypothyroidism, hypertension, anxiety/depression, etc.
Elektra follows an evidence-based approach closely adhering to guidelines set forth by The Menopause Society (formerly The North American Menopause Society). This includes the use of FDA-approved hormonal and non-hormonal medications. Our providers are also versed in evidence-based integrative approaches (e.g., supplements and lifestyle interventions).
Elektra providers can prescribe both hormonal AND non-hormonal prescription treatments as well as evidence-backed supplements.
Less than 20% of OB/GYNs receive menopause training in their residency programs, and others simply don’t spend time on it during a visit. This means that many women who consult their providers don’t receive the care they deserve (in fact, 70% of women who seek menopause care don’t receive treatment).
Elektra is trying to fill this gap with providers who are specially trained in menopause — although it’s important to note that we are designed to complement, not replace, your in-person care.
If you’re in-network with Elektra, you’ll just have to pay the cost of your regular copay or coinsurance.
Feel free to text Elektra’s insurance verification number at (414) 888-6578 with an image of the front and back of your insurance card, as well as your date of birth. A member of our care team can check and text you back within 1 business day!
Yes, of course! Feel free to call or text us at (646) 760-6669 – we’d be happy to answer your questions. You can also book by phone if you’d prefer.
